South African rapper Cassper Nyovest, announced that he had sold 10 million records in his entire career, sharing a picture of himself standing by one of two plaques he received.
Producer Dj Maphorisa questioned the legitimacy of “records sold” versus the “combined multi-platinum digital streams” that was pictured in one of the plaques. After much raucous, RiSA confirmed that all the fuss was in fact a misunderstanding and that Cassper is indeed correct. In more positive news, the streets are elated and continue to celebrate with Cassper over this mega achievement. Any guesses which album or single had the highest streams and sales over the course of his career?
Twitter Comrades couldnt hide their joy, see tweets below.
TrendingSA on SABC3 asked RISA about it and they responded back confirming that Cass is telling no lies he really did as he said

So now that RISA confirmed Cassper’s plaque, has your favorite made the same noise he made the other day?
It’s sad to see that your own niggas would rather celebrate negativity than positivity. Very sad.
